Let us be clear up front, because this matters.
Vol Land Clearing is a directory and listing service. We are not a land clearing contractor.
We do not own mulching machines or excavators for hire. We do not clear lots, grind brush, or do dirt work. What we do is keep an organized, browsable list of land service operators working in this part of East Tennessee, so a landowner with overgrown acreage can find who serves their county without digging through scattered Facebook pages and word of mouth.
Vol Land Clearing is run locally, based in Anderson County, Tennessee. The directory covers Anderson, Campbell, Union, and northern Knox counties, with extended coverage listings for Scott and Roane counties.
Why This Site Exists
Land services run on word of mouth around here. Plenty of good operators have no website at all, and a landowner who just bought five acres in Campbell County has no single place to see who runs a mulching head within a reasonable drive. National lead generation sites do not fill the gap in this trade.
This directory is the plain alternative: an open list you can read, organized by service and county, with phone numbers shown up front. No form required. No charge to look.
How Listings Work
- Basic listings are free for businesses.
- Listing information comes from public sources and from the operators themselves, and from updates operators send us.
- Each listing shows the business name, phone, website, services, counties served, and equipment, where the operator has shared it. Equipment matters in this trade: a landowner shopping for mulching wants to know what size machine is coming.
- A listing is not an endorsement. We do not verify quality, and we do not guarantee any operator’s work, pricing, or availability.
Landowners should do the same checks they would do anywhere: confirm the operator carries insurance, ask what the job includes and what the finished ground will look like, and get the price and scope in writing before work begins.
How This Site Makes Money
We want to be honest about this too. The directory is free for landowners and free for a basic business listing. In the future, operators may be able to pay for featured placement, clearly marked as featured, to appear more prominently. Featured placement would be advertising, not a quality ranking, and we will label it that way if and when it exists.
For Land Service Operators
- Get listed: If you work in Anderson, Campbell, Union, northern Knox, Scott, or Roane county and are not listed, send us your business name, phone, website, services, counties served, and a short equipment list.
- Fix a listing: Wrong phone number, changed services, sold the machine? Tell us and we will update or remove it.
- Remove a listing: If you do not want to be listed, contact us and we will take it down.
